Itinerary Highlights:
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
- Warm welcome at Srinagar Airport, either arriving with or meeting your Bespoke Ski Guide at the airport. Transfer to Gulmarg (approximately 2-3 hours).
Days 2-3: Acclimatization, avalanche training, and familiarization
- Gentle ski runs to adjust to the altitude, planning on heading up to 14,000 feet to begin our acclimatization before spending the majority of the day down lower.
Days 4-8: Skiing Apharwat Peak, Skiing Baba Rishi Trees, or skiing down to Drung. We will examine weather and snow conditions to get a good sampling of the offerings that Gulmarg has.
- Daily guided ski excursions on the slopes of Apharwat Peak.
- Experience the thrill of skiing in one of the highest gondolas in the world.
- Opportunities for first tracks in untouched powder bowls and tree runs.Evening relaxations with local culinary delights.
Day 9: Srinagar Exploration
- Return to Srinagar for a city tour, or a stay on Dal Lake in a houseboat for those who desire an intimate experience to unwind from many days of skiing.
- Evening free for shopping – pick up exquisite Pashmina shawls, saffron, and handicrafts.
Day 10: Departure
Farewell, breakfast, and transfer to Srinagar Airport.
